The World of Ice Cream Flavours

441287262_890e77c7c3Ice cream is my most favourite frozen treat for dessert. It could also be your favourite too. There are so many flavours of ice cream. I don’t even know where to start. Without ice cream I would die in the hot hot heat with  nothing to cool me down. Here are some of the my flavours of ice cream: Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Butter Pecan, Chocolate Chip Mint, and Chocolate Chip. I also really like Lemon, Banana, Pecan, Cookie Dough, Maple Nut, Vanilla Fudge, Chocolate Fudge Crunch, Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum. If I could only choose 0ne flavour it would be Cotton Candy. I like  this flavour best because  it taste like real cotton candy on a stick but much colder.

Did you know that ice cream has been around since the 5th century? It’s the 21st century so ice cream has been around for 16 centuries. That is 1600 years!

If you like ice cream what is your favourite flavor?

Pink Shirt Day

4279677577_a64542890dPink Shirt Day is a day where we wear pink for the whole day to show people that bullying is not right. This year February 23 is Pink Shirt Day.  This all started in 2007  when a grade 9 boy at Central Kings Rural High School in Nova Scotia got bullied  just because he was wearing a pink shirt. But the next day about 100 students from his school  wore pink shirts because they wanted to support him. From that moment on, the day in February that people wear pink shirts is now called Pink Shirt Day.

If someone was getting bullied I would get help. I would not be a bystander and be supportive of the victim. My commitent is to help people who are in trouble.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is where you can play  as Mario, Yoshi and Luigi in a whole different galaxy and battle new enemies. You can collect stars, grand stars and Comet Medal’s. There are also different Power ups for Mario and Yoshi. The names of the Power ups are:  Cloud Flower, Fire Flower, Rock Mushroom and a Boo Mushroom. There is also a Bee Mushroom, Spring Mushroom, Blimp Fruit, Dash Pepper and Glowing Balb Berry.

Here are some of the name’s of the Galaxy’s: Sky Station Galaxy, Puzzle Plank Galaxy, Cosmic Cove Galaxy and Wild Glide Galaxy. There is also Tall Trunk Galaxy, Super massive Galaxy and Sweet Mystery Galaxy and many more awesome Galaxy’s.

Here are a few Objects that can help you on your Journey: Green Mushroom, Mystery Coin, 6 Life Mushroom and a Spin Drill.

If you are  having  problems on a part in a galaxy there will be a Blue Spirit named Rosalina. She will  help you get past  it.  But you’ll get a bronze star instead of a gold star until you do it by yourself. In Every world there is a square with a star on it you will need the right amount of stars so you can advance on.

Sometimes in a Galaxy there will be a Blue Transporter that will  take you to a  bonus level for an amount of time. Once you have defeated all the enemies you will be rewarded with Three Lives. But you better get them fast before the time runs out.

Also in every world there is a hungry Luma who is very hungry for star bits or coins. If you give the Luma the right amount of Star Bits or coins then it will transform into a galaxy or a planet.

For how many comet medals you collect there will be a picture of a star sparkeling over a galaxy that is called a Prankster Comet its like a bonus star to collect.

Once you have collected One Hundred and Twenty stars and Forty Eight comet medals you will go into the green star challenge.

There will be Two or Three Green Stars hidden in the Galaxy for you too find. After you collect the green stars in a galaxy  you will have a gold crown over the Galaxy saying Galaxy Complete.

Coconut Fred’s Fruit Salad Island!

Coconut Fred’s Fruit Salad Island is about this very funny coconut named Fred. All of his  friends have a lot of fun adventures all around the island.  Here are some of Fred’s fun and happy friends: Slip and Slide the wacky and silly banana brothers, Bingo the frightened cherry and Bungaberry the thudding-happy strawberry. Then there is Mr.Greenrind, a quiet type of watermelon and Wegdie the lemon who wants to get off the island and away from Coconut Fred.

Here are some of my favourite episodes from the season of Coconut Fred: A Bad Case of the Fruit Cups, Nutcase, Fruit Canal and No News is Your News. I also liked  Amuse Hotel, Fruity Booty, A Cold Day on Fruit Salad Island and Lemon Overboard. On the show anything that Fred thinks about will happen. Sometimes Fred needs to go inside his Nut Hut and ask his wise Tiki slot machine how to help people with their problems. He pulls the lever and then Tiki’s answer comes out of the slot.

The World of Angle’s

426521993_2415e52c79_mLast week our class was learning about the different angles that we could find in the school. We learned about: straight angles, right angles, obtuse angle, acute angle and a reflex angle. Here are some facts on these five types. An obtuse angle is greater then 90° and less then 180°. Acute angle is less then 90°. A right angle is an angle of a square and equals up to 90°. A straight angle is a straight line with a half circle in the middle and equals up to 180°.  A reflex angle is where you measuring  it from the outside of  it. One time we watched a video of all the turns the snow boarders can do.  A 1260° turn is 3 rotations and a half. A  720° is 2 rotantions.  The video was so cool.

If you like one of the angles which one would be your favourite?

How has My Writing Improve?

250235218_6b6e677c05Over this past school year I have been improving   my writing skills. On my first post I didn’t know what to write, but now I know I am doing better.  Now I am  better at writing paragraphs, sentences and punctuation. I have accomplished thirty different posts. Some are about video games  and  the rest are all school work. When I’m writing a post, sometimes I need to  add more details or to take some words out of my post and replace them with new ones. Also, sometimes I need to have my posts make  more sense for my readers.

Sometimes I do need help from a student or a teacher or a parent to read over my post to see if it’s good enough to be published. I try not to make a spelling mistake in my writing. If I do make a spelling mistake, I would Spell Check it on the computer, or I could  look it up in the dictionary.

Why Do We Need Avatars?

MyHero2 Why do we need Avatars? They are important to have because they hide your identity from the public.  If  people saw a picture of you on the Internet they would know who you are. It is important to be safe and keep your personal information to yourself.

The fun part of Avatar’s is you can customize them any way you want them to be and they make you look cool.  If you are wondering where I got this from I made it in The Super Hero Factory. Your Avatar can have a cap, a jetback , angel wing’s or devil wing’s. You can also customize the skin tone of your character or change the skin completely your avatar can have Gil’s or metal skin.

Remeber, keep personal information to yourself or share only with your friends and family.

The Calm Ocean

2552769707_1918bd203f_m

The calm ocean was like a sheet of glass

The wind was quiet, gentle and breezy

The sky was light blue

there were a few white clouds

not a dark cloud to be seen

The sun was so big and bright

It felt so happy to be out

The storm was nearing

The white caps were as loud like a thunder

The storm went on & on over night

The birds flee

The clouds were crying to the wind

The ocean calms the clouds as it goes to sleep once more

Our Trip to the Aquarium

2165134799_ac3d769ec0On June 1st our class and Ms. Anderson’s class went on a field trip to the Vancuver Aquarium where we slept over night with the beluga whales. We had to raise a lot of money to pay for this end of the year field trip. Each student had to bring in $80 and we also did some fundraisers to raise enough money and enough drivers for the trip.  We got to departure bay then we were waiting for everyone to arrive then Mrs. Braidwood & Ms. Anderson did a roll call to see if everyone was here. After that we started to grab all of our stuff and started to get on the ferry. We put our stuff near the front of the boat then we had a seat. After we docked we got off of the ferry and took a bus.

We got on to another bus once we got off.  We took a trail that lead to the Aquarium. It was fun once we got there. While we were waiting for our tour to start, we were playing at Stanley Park until it was time to come in for the tour to begin, but we were aloud to bring our stuff  inside. Once it was 9 o’clock we went into a classroom then we got split up into two groups.

Group A and group B went to different exhibits. After when we were done with our tour we got to have a snack and then we went into the beluga tank to get all of our stuff ready to go to bed. We went to bed between 12:00 and 1:00 am. After that some of the boys and the girls started to fall asleep and some kids started to take pictures of the beluga whales while some of us were trying to sleep. We got our stuff together to leave.

After that, we had breakfast. We got to choose a buddy to take a look around  the Aquarium on exhibits that we missed on the previous day. After that we went to the gift shop. When we were done in the gift shop we got all of our stuff and then we said thank-you to the staff of the Aquarium. We took the trail up from the Aquarium back to the bus stop then we payed for all the students and the teachers. We took the bus back to the ferry terminal, got on the ferry and waited to go back to Nanaimo. Once we got back, I found my mom then we got all of our stuff into my mom’s van and went back to school for the last little bit of the end of the day.
